My name is Anne, but Moon works as a name as well. It originally came from a screenname - moonish - based off a card from the Fallen London website, but then quickly got shortened to Moon once I got to really KNOW some of the people I was talking to in chats. Ganef is an old word for thief, and calling myself Moon's Thief, essentially, happened because I was writing a really boastful poem from the point of view of a thief and looking for synonyms, and "ganef" caught my attention.

Currently a student in a university in America, female, searching desperately for a place to fit in. Joining DW because my friend Cayra has gotten tired of telling me to join and telling me about the friend-locked fics on here and just given me a kick in the ass to join.

I have no idea how this is going to go, since this is my first time making an account that I want to be anything resembling active on in a journal-based website (started going on the internet a little too late for the initial rush of LJ, IJ, and DW accounts, and the difficulty of finding people on here has always kind of intimidated me), but I hope it goes well!
